In a normal year BYU would be an easy pick , but look for a fired up UTEP team with a solid balance on both sides of the ball look for their first bowl win since 1967. Expect the Huskies to be looking for redemption against a Fresno State team that has been extremely inconsistent all season long. Both of these teams feel like they have a lot to prove and have what it takes to win this game and it should come down to the wire. In the end though there is just to much talent this season on the Huskies squad for Fresno State to come away with the win. PICK-NORTHERN ILLINOIS -2 NEW ORLEANS BOWL (5.5 “BLACK SWANS”) OHIO U VS TROY SAT DEC 18TH 8PM EST TV ESPN (CURRENT BETPHOENIX.COM LINE IN BOLD) TROY -2 TOTAL 57.5 Another MAC team that can be very dangerous faces off against what seems like a perennially bowl contender out of the Sun Belt in Troy. The Trojans have won at least a share of the Sun Belt crown the past five season and is playing in the New Orleans Bowl for the third time in five years. The Bobcats have improved steadily over the past three seasons in making their second straight bowl game. The Bobcats are 0-4 all-time in Bowls and that is likely to change this year, PICK- OHIO +2
