| Big East Tourney Games of The Day |
BY DAN THE MAN LEACH HOST SPORTS EDGE RADIO SHOW UCONN VS GEORGETOWN NOON EST (CURRENT BETPHOENIX.COM LINE G TOWN BY 3.5) The eight/nine game of the Big East tourney should be a doozy as two of the conference’s most storied hoops teams tip off the second day of the Big East Tourney in NYC. The Huskies come off a mauling of Depaul in the first round and the Hoyas will be playing for the first time, which can be a hindrance at times when playing a team with a game already under its belt. PICK: GEORGETOWN RUTGERS VS ST JOHNS 2:30 PM EST (ST JOHN’S BY 10.5) Rutgers got a huge boost with a OT win over a tough Seton Hall team in the first round and now look to beat the Red Storm on their home floor. St Johns has the most wins against ranked teams in all of college basketball this season and have a serious shot to win the Big East tourney with the home fans in rare form. PICK: ST JOHN’S SOUTH FLORIDA VS CINCINNATI 7:00 PM EST ( CINCI BY 7) The Bulls come off a monumental comeback after being down by 16 to Villanova to beat them by one. Cincinnati has been playing great basketball over the past two plus weeks and feel like they have a shot to make a deep run in the Big East tourney. This game will be won with defense and should be closer then the experts think PICK: CINCINNATI MARQUETTE VS WEST VIRGINIA 9:25 PM EST (WVU BY 2,5) The Golden Eagles dominated Providence to make it to the second round and a date with a very tough Mountaineers squad. WVU can beat you inside and out and it will be up to a very volatile Marquette defense to slow them down. PICK : WEST VIRGINIA DAN THE MAN LEACH OWNS THE WORLD’S MOST EXPENSIVE GOLDEN KAZOO, IS AN AWARD WINNING HORTICULTURIST, INVENTED SARAN WRAP , AND CAN BE REACHED AT This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
