Kentucky will hang in most of the way , but Ohio State is just too much in so many areas and will wear down the young Cats en route to the Elite 8. PICK: OHIO STATE -6 SOUTHWEST REGION #11 VCU VS #10 FLORIDA STATE 9:55 PM EST (FLORIDA STATE BY 4 TOTAL 131) If you had this game in your brackets then you are a better man then me as the usual 11 v 10 Sweet Sixteen game featuring two teams no one thought would be there and with totally contrasting styles, should be scrum-diddly-umptios. FSU might be the best defensive team in the tourney and VCU might be one of the most confident teams left in the field after what they have been able to do against USC, Georgetown, and Purdue en route to the Regional Semi. Many thought VCU shouldn't even be in the field and boy have they proved all the haters wrong. They can score from the inside and out and play aggressive D that can get into their opponents heads. Florida State absolutely lambasted the Irish, who many thought should have been a number one seed and come into this game feeling like they are good enough to win the National Title. The Noles can really mess with a teams offensive rhythm and that is what VCU is going to try to counteract with the great scoring ability of Jamie “Charlie” Skeen and great guard play of Joey Rodriguez. This is going to be a great game to watch and should come down to the final possessions.
