Both teams have been within a few games of each other over the past couple of weeks and the Giants after a sluggish start at time are putting things together and the D-Backs bats are heating up as well which is creating one of the more exciting division races in baseball. The Giants will send Ryan Vogelsong to the mound who has been solid with a 4-1 record and a 1.81 ERA and has won his last three decisions. The D-Backs counter with the red-hot Ian Kennedy who is 7-2 with a 3.23 ERA and has won his last four decisions. This will be a test of wills early and could be one of those 2-1 .3-2 type of pitchers duels , even with the great offense the Diamondbacks have been showing as of late. PREDICTION(BASED ON A 1-10 GREEN LANTERN MINT ICE CREAM SANDWICH SCALE ) 7.4 GREEN LANTERN SANDWICHES ON THE DIAMONDBACKS- The value sits with the D-Backs here as Kennedy has been hot and Arizona has been playing much better at home this season than in 2010. Look for this to be a low scoring affair and for the D-Backs to pull it out late.
