The Yanks are battling with the Red Sox for the Al East as well and while they have played better as of late, still have some issues in the rotation, Phil Hughes and his monstrous ERA being the biggest, and are trying to find their stride. Jeter might inch closer to 3,000 hits, but the Indians will get the much more important win.
