And….here …we…go! What drama we have for game six with the World Series on the line. All-Time Yankee villain Pedro “Dirty Sanchez” Martinez against Andy “ All I do is win and look creepy doing it” Pettitte. All the makings for a classic game six with the World champs having their back against the wall. It will be a tough road to ho for the Phils, but one thing they have done over the past two years is come up with big wins in the postseason when they need them most.

The Yanks took the gamble by going with a three man rotation for the postseason and this is the game where it truly might come back and haunt them as the Phils have a rested Pedro Martinez , who at his best is scary unhitable and even at his advanced age( 46 -he lied on his birth certificate) can still shut down a team. Chase Utley has be unconscious and has good career stats against Pettitte, and the always dangerous Shane “ Van Meer Beck” Victorino(check injury status), has yet to truly wake up and is definitely due for a big game. The Phils advantage in the bullpen, minus Mariano Rivera, is marked and could be the deciding factor in a close game. A-Frued has started to heat up a little, but has been in his head for much of the series and needs a big game and clutch hitting if the Yankees want to bring home their record 27th championship. This is a game where the team that scores first will have a huge advantage with how dominate both pitchers can be with a lead.

Game 6-Phillies 6 Yankees 4- Something just tells me, other than my original prediction for a seven game series, that is where we are headed . This is one of the most evenly matched World Series in years and it would only be fitting that we have a one game wins it all scenario. I love Pedro in this situation , being able to once again rock his nemesis and prevent them from winning another world title. Look for Utley to continue his hot streak, Ryan Howard to finally come through and for a strong effort out of the Phils bullpen to preserve the win. The Phils getting +$175 or more is a much stronger value then the Yanks minus the money with what the Phillies bring to the table with their back against the wall.
