DALLAS COWBOYS AT PHILADELPHIA EAGLES (8:30 PM NBC TV)

This game could go a long way in deciding who win the NFC East and both teams have been playing great football as of late. The Eagles have been the better team overall with huge wins over the G-Men and at Washington on Monday night, but that loss at Oakland scares me worse than Paranormal Activity. The Boys on the other hand have been playing much better than at the beginning of the season , but still have the distinction of the best terribly inconsistent team in the NFL.

Both these team need a statement win and that is what this game will create. Under the lights on Sunday night everything seems bigger and the loser of this game could see their spirit broken at least for the next couple weeks, which put even more pressure on both these squads to come out firing against their hated division rival. The key to this game will be defense..defense..defense. Both teams can score , but it is going to come down to what defense will stand up and create big turnovers and slow down the others often potent attack. This should be one of the better Sunday night games of the year and has all the makings to go down to the wire.

PREDICTION (4 steak sandwiches out of 5 on Philly)- EAGLES 24 COWBOYS 17 - I just can't go against the Eagles here. They are the better team right now and have been playing great at home all season. The Brian Westbrook factor could be key, but as of press time Westbrook looks like he is set to play and will get a significant amount of touches on Sunday night , which is music to the ears of all Igles backers. Romo has had his issues in big national TV games and I look for that to continue and for Roy"Give me the damn ball cause I am the only one that thinks I'm a #1 WR" Williams to continue to drop passes and for the Eagles D to cause some key turnovers in what will turn out to be a gritty hard fought win for Philly. You might have lost the world series , but at least you have a coach with a world class mustache and a team that could go to the Super Bowl.
