The Cincinnati Bengals are for real!! What a huge win at "The Big Ketchup Bottle" over the Steelers. don't look now , but this team is complete enough to make a run at the Super Bowl. Late breaking news on Monday night has former Chiefs locker room cancer and RB Larry Johnson signing with Cinci and that could only make thier already sick power running even better. The Jets are officially a pathetic team. They started on fire and rookie QB Mark "Dirty Sanchez" looked like Joe Montana, but the honeymoon is over and head coach Rex Ryan better start winning some ball games or impatient New Yorkers will start calling for his head before his first season ends and begging his father Buddy Ryan to come out of retirement and coach them. I am now addicted to inflatable rafts and salt shakers THINGS WE STILL WANT TO KNOW Are the Cardinals a good team or do they just want to appear as a good team? Cause they are no f---ng good team! Is Baltimore a playoff team? Their disgusting victory at Cleveland was a win, but is this team really scaring anybody with their offensive ineptitude. I mean I know this same franchise went to a Super Bowl with the "human safe mode" in QB Trent Dilfer, but they have to start moving the ball consistently or they have no shot of doing anything in January. Can the Titans come out of the travesty that was an 0-6 start coming off an AFC Championship game appearance, and make a run at he playoffs? QB Vince Young thinks so and the way this team is looking completely different than they did early in the season, nothing is out of the realm of possibility in the up and down AFC. You had to know head coach Jeff Fisher Price would find a way to get this team motivated to start resembling at least a college team and now they are getting closer and closer to an actual NFL team as they won their third in a row over Buffalo. I wonder what it must be like to be an actual meteor, hurling thru space at thousands of miles an hour. I mean that has gotta be the life. At least that is what Shannon "Key West" Wilson told me. PARSLEY,SAGE,ROSEMARY AND PIGSKIN- C'mon Bud Adams!! The ancient Titans owner decided it was in his best interest to flick off Buffalo Bills fans during his teams win at home on Sunday. Adams must have forgotten that 10 mins earlier Commish Roger Goodell was in his suite stressing how important the NFL's family image is. Adams may be in his 80's and from a different generation when owners did what they wanted and faced no retribution(see everything Al Davis did during the 70's,80's, and 90's), but I don't care how senile he is getting , common sense is still a word in the dictionary last time myself and Chad Ochocinco checked. EARLY LOOK AT WEEK 8 NFL BETTING VALUE (CURRENT BET PHOENIX.COM LINES AS OF TUESDAY MORNING) Rated on a 1-5 Bagel and Locks system Miami at Carolina- (Panthers -3 -$123 Total 43.5) - Huge game for both teams and both come off big wins this past weekend. The Dolphins win was expected, but they needed all 60 mins to overcome the suddenly tough Pewterschmit Buccaneers. The Panthers got a huge home win over NotHotlanta and have a an outside chance at the playoff's if they can win basically all their remaining games, but stranger things have happened. The Fins are much closer to a playoff birth and are the team that doesn't have QB Jake Del Homme, so at least they have that going for them as well as the better value. - Huge game for both teams and both come off big wins this past weekend. Play - 3 Bagels on the DOLPHINS Philadelphia at Chicago (Eagles-3 +100 Total 45) -The Bears were atrocious at San Fran last week and need to win this game if they have any hopes of the postseason. The Igles looked awful at times in their loss to San Diego, but McNabb had a huge game and they will need his leadership as well as his legs to make a run to the playoff's themselves. You would think the Bears would have a big advantage being at home, but with how bad QB Jay Cutler is playing , the game could be on the Moon and it wouldn't matter. Play - 3.5 Bagels(with lox schmear) on the EAGLES Washington Redskins at Dallas Cowboys- (Dallas -11 Total 41.5) - This game has taken on a much different tone than it would have a few weeks ago. The Cowboys brutal loss at Green Bay over the weekend once again shows that they are much better on paper than on the field and with a Skins win here.gasp..they could have a miracle shot at the division. With the way the Cowboys offense looked in Green Bay and how much better the Skins have been playing there is no way you can lay 11 points here.
