Thursday TNT NBA Throwndown Betting PreviewCLEVELAND CAVALIERS AT BOSTON CELTICS TNT 8:05 PM EST( CAVS -2.5 TOTAL 193)

After winning 13 games in a row and looking almost unbeatable the Cavs came back down to earth and lost three in a row at times looking average at best. They were able to win against the Hornets on Tuesday and come into this game looking to regain their footing as the East’s best. The Celtics have played great basketball over the past month and even though they will be without their leader Paul Pierce against Cleveland, look for Boston to continue to share the ball and play great defense in what should be a dandy.

Prediction- (1-5 can of hot soup scale) 3.5 cans on CLEVELAND

DENVER NUGGETS AT GOLDEN STATE TNT 10:35 PM EST( NUGGETS -5.5 TOTAL 226.5)

Many people still feel that the West is the Lakers too lose, but in recent weeks the Nuggets have started to make a claim of “not so fast my friend”. Denver has been simply dominant over the past couple of months and at times have looked like the best team in the NBA. One thing Denver wants to improve on is their very average 13-14 road record and Golden State is a great place to do so as the Warriors have had an awful season and while they might get up at the start of this game for the national TV audience, by the third quarter this one will be a runaway for the Nuggets.

Prediction -3.5 cans on DENVER

NBA ATS(AGAINST THE SPREAD) POWER RANKINGS

1-UTAH (34-19-3 ATS) “Bring a Polygamist Get a Free Ticket Night” not as successful as the Jazz had hoped.
