Thursday TNT NBA Throwdown Betting Preview

LOS ANGELES LAKERS AT MIAMI HEAT TNT 8:05 PM EST( LAKERS -5 TOTAL 189)

Kobe is finally back for the Lake Show and D Wade is back and not in puppet form for the Heat so all the makings of March sizzle fest are on in Miami. The Lakers are still the best team in the West , but the gap is closing with teams like Denver and Utah playing as well as they have been since the All-Star Break. The Heat are hanging on for the last playoff spot in the East and would love a statement win at home over one of the NBA’s best. The Heat will come to play and Wade will go off for close to 30 points, but in the end the Lakers depth and Kobe’s clutch shooting will be the difference. Prediction- (1-5 can of hot soup scale) 3.5 cans on LOS ANGELES

UTAH JAZZ AT PHOENIX SUNS TNT 10:35 PM EST( SUNS -1.5 TOTAL 213.5)

Two of the Leagues hottest teams get it going in Phoenix for the nightcap tonight as the Suns who are 8-2 in their last 10 and the Jazz who had until some recent minor hiccups , been the hottest team in the NBA. Points will be a plenty in this one as both these teams like to run and keep the tempo high. The Suns have been playing better ball over the past week, but the Jazz are deep enough and talented enough to beat anybody in the league. This game is going to come down to defense and Phoenix has been playing much better D at home as of late and is a healthy 23-7 at America West Arena. This game could go down to the final seconds and the value is with the home team.
