With Selection Sunday less than two weeks away the drama for which teams are going to make the Big Dance and which teams will be left out is ramping up. Over the next 10 days I am going to keep you up to date on which teams I believe will make the biggest three weeks of the basketball year and which will be Nit bound. I will also be looking at teams that have great value as of now to win it all and cut down the nets on April 7th in Indianapolis.

TEAMS THAT ARE IN AS OF NOW

NOTRE DAME- It would take a major collapse and lots of mid-major upsets for the Irish to not make the tourney as they have been one of the hottest teams in college hoops over the past month.

CONNECTICUT- The Huskies who once looked Nit bound at best, now have played their way into the Madness and are a team that no one will want to play in the early rounds.

DAYTON- The Flyers still will need a strong showing in the A-10 tourney , but have the talent and depth to do just that.

SAN DIEGO STATE- Steve Fisher's bunch are getting hot at the right time and as long as they don't fizzle in the Mountain West Tourney should get an invitation.

TEAMS THAT ARE ON THE OUTSIDE LOOKING IN

RHODE ISLAND- The Rams are literally chilling on the bubble and with a couple of impressive wins in the A-10 Tourney should play themselves in

MEMPHIS- Boy what difference a year makes. Last year the Tigers were coached by John Calapari and were a title contender , now with new coach Josh Pastnor they are just hoping for a ticket to the Dance.

UAB-The Blazers are going to need to make a deep run in the Conference

ARIZONA STATE-The Sun Devils are fighting are at the end of the year and it might not be enough to get their ticket punched, but one thing is for sure they will go out swinging.
