Conference Tourney Previews Big East

Over the next few days I am going to take a look at the big conference tourney’s coming up this week as we get ready for all the Madness that is March. There is going to be wall to all action starting on Tuesday an I will be there with you letting you know the best values to throw some cheddar on and build your bankroll leading up to The Big Dance.

(CHAMPIONSHIP GAME ON ESPN) SITE-MADISON SQUARE GARDEN- NEW YORK CITY

CONTENDERS(CURRENT BET PHOENIX.COM LINE ON BOLD)

SYRACUSE(+$185) The Orange love playing at The Garden and will have a hug fane base from game one. This team is stacked and has what it takes to get through the ultra-competitive Big East Tourney.

WEST VIRGINIA(+$300)- This team could go either way . They could storm their way through and leave no prisoners on the way or fizzle out ion the quarterfinals. Bob Huggins will have his bunch ready , but their first game will be key to set the tone

PITTSBURGH(+$300)- It is too bad the Panthers can’t play this game at home as they just never seem to lose there. That being said Jamie Dixon’s bunch has always done well in this tournament and should have another deep run this time.

VILLANOVA(+$350) A couple weeks ago this looked like a team that would be a one-seed in the NCAA Tourney. But after losing four of their last six games, they will need to find themselves again early in the Big East Tourney if they want to make a run in it and the Big Dance.

LONG SHOTS WITH A CHANCE TO PULL IT OFF

LOUISVILLE(+$650) Their win over the Cuse this past weekend in the last game at Freedom Hall was huge and should give Rick Pitino’s team a major confidence boost heading into the toughest conference tourney in all of college basketball.

GEORGETOWN(+$800)The Hoyas have definitely been a disappointment over the past 6 weeks, but have the depth and ability to make a run in NY.

PICK- SYRACUSE- The Orange’s second home is Madison Square Garden and some of their most memorable wins have come at the legendary site. This team is ready to show the nation why they can win it all this April and starting with the always ultra-important Big East Tourney Title is theirs.
