Conference Tourney Previews SEC

Over the next few days I am going to take a look at the big conference tourney’s coming up this week as we get ready for all the Madness that is March. There is going to be wall to all action starting on Tuesday an I will be there with you letting you know the best values to throw some cheddar on and build your bankroll leading up to The Big Dance.

(CHAMPIONSHIP GAME ON ABC) SITE-NASHVILLE

CONTENDERS(CURRENT BET PHOENIX.COM LINE ON BOLD)

KENTUCKY(-$250). This is the Wildcats tourney to lose and other than a hiccups late in the season at Tennessee, they have been simply dominant and super-frosh John Wall is capable of truly taking over a game and for that matter an entire tournament.

VANDERBILT(+$350) The Commodores have had a tremendous season and other that their last regular season game loss to South Carolina had won six of their last eight games to end the regular season. They can score from outside and in and are a threat to make a deep run in Nashville.

TENNESSEE(+$450) This team makes you scratch your head at times as they have played some of the best basketball at times in the country and at other have just looked average. Their huge win over Kentucky will bode well if they face them again in Nashville and ending the season winning five of their last six shows what they are capable of doing.

LONG SHOTS WITH A CHANCE TO PULL IT OFF

FLORIDA (+$1000)- The Gators had a definite down year for their standards , but still had some nice wins and come into the SEC tourney primed for some upsets. Ended their regular season with three tough losses to Georgia, Vandy, and Kentucky and will be ready to turn it around in a hurry.

PICK- KENTUCKY- The Wildcats just have too much to not win this tourney and unless John Wall and company just come out and completely don’t show up to one of their games it is going to be tough for anyone to beat them as they make their case for the overall number one seed in the NCAA Tourney.
