You got to love finally seeing the Thunder franchise in the playoffs again after years of brutal embarrassment. Their reward…The top-seeded Lakers! Not the best draw for a team looking to sink their teeth into a playoff run, but with the way that the “Durantula” is playing and the lack of consistency by the Lakers, you just never know what might happen with this series if the Thunder are able to steal Game 2 in LA or win both back in OKC. This should be a fun series to watch and while the Thunder will likely go fishing for the summer when this series ends. This will be the start of many playoff runs for young Durant and OKC. PREDICTION- LAKERS IN 6 3-PHOENIX SUNS VS 6 PORTLAND TRAILBLAZERS SUNS -$240 BLAZERS+$190 With a stunning win on the road to open this series, the Blazers are showing that even without their star guard Brandon Roy, they are a very dangerous team. The Suns have to be kicking themselves after letting Game 1 slip away and lose to a team without their point guard at home, but this Phoenix team has shown bounce back resiliency all season long and will look to re-establish their edge in Game 2. The Suns love to keep the tempo fast and furious and that is where they can separate from a team like the Blazers that is more prone to keep it in the half court. Game 2 is going to be huge for Phoenix as if they lose both two at home this could be a very short series. PREDICTION- SUNS IN 6
