The Spurs have been the Suns nemesis in the Playoffs for several years and with a big game 1 win , The Suns are trying to turn the page on San Antonio’s dominance. Even though the Spurs made a furious third quarter comeback after being down double digits most of the game, the Suns had control of this one from the opening tip and the Spurs are going to have to find a way to score with much more consistency and bring their defense to another level if they want to slow down the blazing Suns. Tim Duncan was the go-to-guy as he has always been for S.A in Round 1 and will need to be even bigger in this series if the Spurs have a chance at the upset. Steve Nash has been on fire for Phoenix and shows more and more every year why he is one of the great guards in recent NBA history and was the main reason the Suns held on to win in Game 1. This game is going to come down to whether or not the Spurs can establish the low post from the opening tip and if there is anyway they can play good enough defense to at least make the Suns work for points, cause they are going to score a ton regardless. The Spurs are a veteran team and will come out confident in this one and put a little doubt back in the Suns minds , at least for a game, that they still can’t beat them.
