Juan Martin del Potro back to back titles !

The anticipated final between the two top seed of the Legg Mason Classic in Washington D.C. Andy Roddick (U.S.A.) vs J.M. del Potro (Argentina) fulfilled all expectations. Roddick took control early breaking Del Potro serve to lead 2-1 but couldn’t hold on to that lead as he lost his serve at love on the 6th game.In the eventual tie-break the argentinian quickly took a 4-1 lead and managed to take the 3rd set(8-6 t-b) and the match. Thrilling battle between two very close champions.The fans obviously would have prefered a different ending but they were delighted by the performance from both players.

It is the first successful title defense in Washington D.C. since André Agassi in 88-89. Second title this season for 20 years old Juan Martin del Potro who is consolidating his ranking at #6 of the world and will surely be a threat for the best in Montreal at the Rogers Masters starting on Monday.
