Week 16 features the final Monday Night Football game of the season, as the Green Bay Packers (5-9 SU, 7-7 ATS) invade Soldier Field to face the Chicago Bears (8-6 SU, 6-6-2 ATS), who are in a must win game versus a rival to keep their postseason hopes alive and that promises a competitive online NFL betting event. However, even a victory over Green Bay and another win in the season finale (at Houston) might not be enough to put Chicago in the playoffs, but a loss certainly slams the door closed on a postseason entrance.

The Bears trail Minnesota by a game in the NFC North, and the Vikings need only one win in their remaining two home contests (Atlanta and Giants) to clinch the division title. If the Bears perform the way they did against Green Bay in Week 11, when NFL wagering cheese heads at Lambeau Field cashed in on a 37-3 rout over Chicago, there won't be playoff football betting in the Windy City.
Chicago gave up 30 unanswered points, a season-high 200 rushing yards and another 227 to Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Bears quarterback Kyle Orton also fumbled a snap that Jason Hunter returned for a 54-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter, and was pulled for Rex Grossman.
However, since that game the Bears have won three of their last four (2-1-1 ATS during the span), including last Thursday's 27-24 OT home win over New Orleans. After Robbie Gould kicked a 28-yarder to end regulation to force the extra period, he made another from 35 yards as the game winner.
After missing part of last week's game with a sore toe, Bears running back Matt Forte is expected to be ready. Forte needs 69 yards to break Anthony Thomas' rookie rushing record of 1,183 set in 2001.

They led 13-7 at halftime and 16-14 with 5:35 left, but the Jaguars scored 13 points in the final quarter, including the winning touchdown with 1:56 remaining. Green Bay has allowed 79 points in the last three games, with 38 coming in the fourth quarter.
