The tennis world is filled with excitement as the Mercedes Cup gets underway this week. The event is filled with some of the world’s greatest players as they take to the clay in search of a championship

The finals are set for the 2011 Wimbledon’s woman’s side as Sabine Lisicki vs. Maria Sharapova will provide plenty of heart pounding action.

While many tennis fans thought that Serena Williams would be playing in Wimbledon at this point, she was eliminated. This does not mean that there is a lack of great tennis to be seen.

Tsvetana Pironkova eliminated Venus Williams at the greatest tennis tournament in the world, but she will not have too much time to rest as she gets ready for her next match against Petra Kvitova.

Rafael Nadal vs. Juan Martin Del Potro will be the match to watch on Monday as Wimbledon continues. This tournament has been excellent so far and will look to only get better as the matches on Monday gt underway. Nadal has lived up to the hype as he has breezed through the competition up to this point and is showing no signs of slowing down.

The main attraction for the United States will be the Mardy Fish vs. Tomas Berdych match as Fish is the last remaining American still alive at Wimbledon. Fish is not extremely proud of the fact that he is the last one left in the tournament.
